Rack Pinion Steering Gear

The rack and pinion system utilizes a gear-set to transform its circular wheel into linear motion needed in order to rotate the wheels. Additionally, it provides the ability to reduce the gear, meaning that the wheel turns are made easier. It is done by enclosing the rack and pinion gear inside a tube of metal that has the rack's end hanging out of the tube, and attached via the axial rod. This pinion gear connected with the shaft of steering, so that, when the wheel turns it spins the gear which moves the rack. The rod that is axial at the end of the rack is connected to the rod's end of the tie and is then connected by the spindle.
